Wimbledon: The Wimbledon tournament is third in line for the Grand Slam championships and it is also the oldest of them all. The U.S. Open: The fourth and final event of the Grand Slam is the U.S. Open. As its name reveals, the contest takes place in the United States in the Flushing Meadows National Tennis Center in Queens, NY. The games are played towards the end of August and the beginning of September, for a period of two weeks. The U.S. Open has a contest suited for handicapped players and games that occur simultaneously such as Gentleman's and Lady's Singles and Doubles and Mixed Doubles similar to Wimbledon.
